1. CIEGOL hosts no content
CIEGOL is an index of matches that are already published and publicly accessible on third-party platforms. Videos play from YouTube, Dailymotion or ok.ru servers through their official embed players; no copy is stored on or uploaded to our servers. We do not stream live events, circumvent technical protection measures or accept user uploads.
The most effective way to make a video unavailable everywhere, including CIEGOL, is to ask the hosting platform to remove it: YouTube, Dailymotion, ok.ru. Even so, we remove the link from CIEGOL as soon as you ask.
2. How to send a takedown notice
Use the contact form and include:
- The protected work (for example, the match broadcast) and who owns it.
- The CIEGOL URL or URLs where it appears (or the teams, competition and match).
- Your name, the company you act for if any, and a contact email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
This procedure is our notice-and-action mechanism under article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act) and accepts notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
3. What happens next
- We review the notice and, if it is complete, remove or disable the link, normally within 48 business hours.
- We confirm the removal by email.
- If the same source channel collects justified notices, we stop linking to its videos.
4. Counter-notice
If you believe a link was removed by mistake (for example, because the video comes from the club's or competition's official channel), write to us through the same form explaining why and providing supporting information. We will consider restoring it and will inform whoever sent the notice.
5. Abusive notices
Knowingly sending false notices may create legal liability. We may ignore notices that are manifestly unfounded or repeatedly abusive.
